National Days of Service
Each national day of service is sponsored by a national organization and focuses on a theme that targets a specific group. Building each day of service into your program calendar can promote volunteerism in your community and provide opportunities for project-oriented problem solving, planning, teaching, researching, networking and increasing community awareness. The idea is to turn people on to service so they will become lifelong volunteers.
National Service members planning events for National Days of Service should complete this Overview Reporting Form before the event. After the event, National Service members should fill out this Event Recap Form.
