Idaho AmeriCorps Programs
These AmeriCorps programs are funded through Serve Idaho by the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute AmeriCorps members are placed on projects addressing environmental conservation, sustainable living and rural community needs in Idaho.
SCA AmeriCorps members serve in the Salmon-Challis National Forest region and participate in certification courses and service-learning experiences in the full spectrum of disciplines required by the U.S. Forest Service and large scale land management.
Idaho Healthcare for Children and Families members serve as "health advocates" for children and families, assisting them with navigating through the healthcare system and providing valuable community resources. Prime location sites are in Head Start/Early Head Start programs in Idaho.
National Service Programs
AmeriCorps VISTA provides full-time members to community organizations and public agencies to create and expand programs that build capacity and ultimately bring low-income individuals and communities out of poverty.
Senior Corps connects today’s 55+ with the people and organizations that need them most.
The AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps is a full-time residential program for men and women, ages 18-24, that strengthens communities while developing leaders through direct, team-based national and community service.
