Encouraging volunteerism and community service.

Lewis-Clark Service Corps AmeriCorps

Lewis-Clark Service Corps members work throughout Idaho. They provide tutoring and mentoring to at-risk students and adults in junior and senior high schools, colleges and universities, in prisons and in a variety of community based organizations. The goal of LCSC is to increase educational success of students with low grades, low attendance or low achievement. Members tutor all academic subjects, arrange a variety of mentoring activities, work with parents, teachers and others to help students succeed in their studies, regardless of age or grade level.
